Project Management - Two day workshop
Project Management first gained prominence in the construction industry in Southern Africa. As a consequence of the increasing rate of technological advancement, and the introduction of rationalisation policies, the techniques and principles of project management are being applied with great success in undertakings such as manufacturing, mining, engineering, data processing, banking and professional practices.
Project Management is no longer merely another type of vogue expression used by managers, executives and educators. It has become a professional discipline in its own right.
This course covers the vital areas of project management, project time management, cost estimation and control and quality control. The accent is on theory combined with practical application. After the five-day course a post-course assignment and application project is undertaken to assess whether delegates can successfully manage their own projects at work.
