THIS FINANCE FOR NON-FINANCIAL COURSE focuses on: Understanding and applying finance is a vital component of every manager’s job; and a skill in short supply in South Africa today. Our Finance for Non-financial Managers training programme has been designed to meet this need. It will demystify the essentials of financial statements, budgeting and cost control. Successful delegates will acquire the tools to maximize their job performance and accomplish organisational goals.
This ‘hands-on’ programme is designed around a practical management simulation, during which delegates manage and administer the business cycle from planning and budgeting through to production, sales and financial reporting. This fun simulation requires full delegate participation, including the manufacturing and selling of their ‘products’ - and is not one of the abstract computer-based simulations often used in financial training. Throughout the programme, practical case studies are also used to introduce and explain each new topic.
DELEGATES AND ACCREDITATION This Fasset approved programme is aimed at non-financial staff and no previous financial knowledge or skills is required. Because it is aimed at a management level, delegates should already be managers/specialists or being groomed for middle or senior management positions.
We also offer a variation of this programme at supervisory level.
Definitive Training Solutions has been awarded full accreditation status as a training provider by Fasset (the Seta for Finance, Accounting, Management, Consulting and Other Financial Services). Our Fasset accreditation number is: 585/00183/04. We are also fully accredited as a training provider by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Our ICB accreditation number is: ATP 13/2005.
We offer a variation of this programme at supervisory level, as well as Fasset accredited Bookkeeping and Accounting skills programmes for administration and accounting staff. We also conduct training in Financial Management, Taxation, Payroll Administration, Project Management and Operations Management.
